Making a Coupon Book

So since Josh and I have been trying to live a more frugal, healthy life I have been researching ways to save money. One of the greatest things I have found so far is Coupons! You really can save a good amount of money if you put a little time and effort into couponing every week. Setting it up will take the longest once you get everything set up it is just maintaining it every week!

What will you need?

So you want to start off by buying a 3 ring binder, I would say go with the zip up one because then you don't have to worry about the coupons flying everywhere if the binder was dropped.

Next you will want to get some baseball card holders to put your coupons in which you can pick up here for a good price. You can also use photo pages if you would prefer.

Last thing you should pick up will be dividers so that you can divide your coupons into categories. You will have to find out which works best for you, some people divide by expiration date, others just go by products (bath and beauty, pet, food etc,) I find it easier for me to divide mine by the different products.

Once you get all this set up you just have to get your coupons. You can get your Sunday paper or find numerous coupons online.
You can also set up your binder to keep the weekly ads in as well because most stores will match the competitors so it is helpful to keep those on hand as well.  This is how it will look when you are completed.

Tips:
You can also add a pencil holder where you can keep pens, scissors, calculator that kind of stuff.
Make sure you do your shopping list before you leave the house and stick with it.
In case you don't want the hassle of carrying around a huge binder full you can also get the little Coupon Wallet which you can fit a good amount of coupons in, however it won't be as organized as the binder. There are a lot of chic designs with these though.
Enjoy the savings!
